Northrock Resources steps up to the plate again!
In 2006 Northrock drilled a well at km 15 on the access road. Unfortunately it was a dry well. The location was reclaimed and so was the road. Northrock was generous enough to leave the bridge abutments in and build a multiuse bridge for recreational users of the area. The bridge is designed to accommodate ATV's Horses, Mnt bikes and trail users. At present the bridge is fairly new and requires some approach work. However it is really great to have this donation to the efforts of preserving the area.

Fall Creek Area going back to Nature.
In the coming months the access road from the blue bridge (km 12) to the Amoco location (km 23) will be reclaimed. Rocky Mountain House and the FCCS is discussing the option with Amoco to leave part of the road intact to remain as a Multi-Use light traffic trail. The trail would be adopted into the Alberta Stewardship program requiring volunteer efforts to maintain it.

The remaining road will be absorbed by Westfraser wood products and will NOT be maintained.

The liability and access concerns have been the main driver for the reclamation of the road.

Board of Directors needed.
In 2007 several of the Board of Directors of the FCCS moved on. The FCCS needs to replace these positions immediately. Anyone interested in joining the board please contact Wes Hansen at wholds@telus.net
