Monitoring:

If your well is near a gas target boundary, being drilled though a pressure sensitive formation or is located in an area that is prone to deviation concerns. DDS can monitor your project 24 hours a day and calculate you exact BHL, monitor in real-time ECD or minimize your wellbore deviation concerns all from out facility in Calgary.

Corrections:

With the flip of a switch DDS can convert a simple monitoring job to a full service steerable directional service. DDS uses downhole MWD systems that are programmable downhole that can switch services from monitoring to steerable directional service all without having to trip out of the hole. So if your well decides to build inclination and needs to be corrected or slowed down. Our supervisors will change the tool over to steerable mode, correct the wellbore, return the tool back to monitoring services. That way you only pay for the services you use and save costs.

Pressure:

DDS can monitor Hydrostatic pressure real-time. The benefit of this service is to monitor your annular circulating pressure maintaining a near balanced circulating pressure or reduced circulating pressure which increases your ROP and saves drilling costs. Additionally, monitoring your circulating pressure also assists in identifying if your hole is cleaning properly while drilling. Knowing if your hole cleaning is sufficient for the ROP being drilled can help prevent mud rings, stuck pipe and damaged formations.
